I haven’t been able to figure out a way to disable text selection in 3.0 (copy, paste, “Go to Link”, etc.). Any ideas?

      Sam,

I haven’t found anything yet either. There are several events being published the first in sequence being UIMenuControllerWillShowMenuNotification. Notice that this is a Will event not a Should event. If it was a Should type of event then there would be a ShouldShow message that could be implemented that returned NO just like the ShouldLoad event for the UIWebView.

      I’ll keep looking.

    Hey Lee,

is it possible to implement the Addressbook function into your Framework.
I need a function where i can call the normal iPhone Addressbook an get the result (eg. the name and phone number) back to javascript. Maybe it is a feature for a next release?

Cheers and sorry for the bad english,

      Dodo,

I can certainly implement accessing the AddressBook. I’ll try and put it in the next beta of QCiPhone 1.5. All you want is access to the data right? Do you want to send some sort of indicator and then only get that item back or do you want to get all items and then pick out the one you want?

    Lee,

thanks for your fast response. I only need one record from the addressbook. But I’ll prompt the user to select this record via the iPhone AdressBook. I found a link on ADC that will describe my needs a little bit better šŸ˜‰
